Camp Henry rocks are located in a meadow among the willows in about the middle of this picture. In 1810 the fields would have been a combination of native grasses and sagebrush. |

In 1965, Boy Scouts and their leaders from the Fort Henry District, Teton Peaks Council, B.S.A., erected a wooden shelter over the Camp Henry and LC rocks, along with a pole fence to keep cattle away, and placed this informational sign within the shelter. | |

The Camp Henry rocks are located on private property. It is not possible to drive up to the rocks. From the unpaved county road it is about 1/2 mile through the meadow, which is often marshy and boggy, especially in the early spring, to the site. It is also possible to reach the site by walking along the canal, but the descent to the meadow is steep and the site is not visible from the canal. If you are interested in visiting the Camp Henry site, please e-mail for directions, a map, and information on contacting the land owner for permission to cross his property. If you want to take pictures of the rocks, take along white chalk or other water-soluble marker to highlight the letters for best results. PLEASE DO NOT use paint or any other permanent marking medium. |
